For the little story.... Parrots at PUB St GERMAIN? This room takes its name from an anecdote at the first PUB St GERMAIN, a historic pub founded in May '68 (you can't make this up!) by the iconic Jean-Claude Cassagne. It housed a couple of real parrots set free in the pub. According to the still circulating legend, they had been extradited from England for disrespecting the Queen. Julien Clerc, who performed in Hair, the iconic musical of the hippie era, was one of the first regular customers at the Parrot Club's night. This did a lot to make the place known. He was quickly followed by all the leading artists of the time, and the entire Parisian elite swelled the line every evening outside the establishment.
It thus became the essential meeting place for the Saint-Germain-des-Prés nights. We have restored the nobility of this emblematic place in Parisian nightlife: legends never die. For lunch or dinner, the Parrot Club is the ideal place to share large tables with friends, but also with family, with attentive and caring staff. For a more intimate meal or drink, choose a booth at the Petit Parrot Club, away from prying eyes...
